Privacy Notice
How DVK Analytics processes and protects your personal data.
Last updated: 3 August 2026 | Version: 1.0
This Privacy Notice explains how DVK Analytics Private Limited (“DVK”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal data when you visit our website, contact us, or use our Sisense reselling, services, and FusionX add-on offerings. DVK is based in India, and this notice is provided in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and other applicable data-protection laws that may apply to you.
1. Who we are (Data Controller)
The controller responsible for your personal data is DVK Analytics Private Limited, registered at #31, Road No 10C, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, hyderabad, Telangana, India, 500033.
For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, contact us at support@dvk.ai or +91 888 5074 888. Our privacy contact is Vamshi Dhavili, Founder, reachable at the same email.
2. The personal data we process
Depending on how you interact with us, we may process the following categories of data subjects and data:
- Website visitors – device/browser information, IP address, pages viewed, and analytics identifiers (only where you consent to analytics cookies).
- Prospects & enquirers – name, business email, phone number, company, and the content of your message or booking request.
- Customers & their authorised users – contact and account details, licensing and support records, and correspondence.
- Suppliers & partners – business contact details used to manage the relationship.
We do not seek to collect special-category data through this website.
How this differs between FusionX and Services: FusionX, our Sisense plugin, is built so that we never access, see, or store your underlying data. It works only with governed schema and metadata, and every query it generates executes inside your own Sisense environment. If you instead engage us for implementation, customization, or managed Services, our engineers may need direct, project-scoped access to your data and dashboards to carry out that work. In that scenario, DVK acts as a processor on your behalf, and that access is governed by your services agreement together with a separate Data Processing Agreement (DPA) setting out its scope, security and duration.
3. Why we process it, and our legal basis
Our purposes of processing and the lawful bases we rely on are:
- Responding to enquiries and booking requests – performance of a contract / legitimate interests.
- Providing Sisense licensing, services, and FusionX support – performance of a contract.
- Website analytics and improvement – consent (managed via our cookie banner).
- Security, fraud prevention, and protecting our systems – legitimate interests / legal obligation.
- Meeting legal, tax, and regulatory duties – legal obligation.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Non-essential cookies (such as Google Analytics) are only set after you accept them in our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time via Cookie Settings. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
5. Who we share data with (categories of recipients)
We share personal data only as needed, with these categories of recipients:
- Vetted service providers / sub-processors (e.g. cloud hosting, analytics, email, and scheduling tools such as Google and Microsoft Outlook Bookings).
- Sisense, where required to provision or support licences you have requested.
- Professional advisers, and authorities where we are legally required to disclose.
A current list of sub-processors is available on request at support@dvk.ai. We do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside your country, including India (where DVK is based) and other regions our sub-processors operate in, such as the EU, the UK, and the US. Where data is transferred to a third country, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as European Commission adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), together with additional technical and organisational measures. A copy of the relevant safeguards can be requested from us.
7. How long we keep it (retention)
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above:
- Enquiry / prospect data – up to 24 months from last contact.
- Customer contract and support records – for the contract term plus 7 years to meet legal and tax obligations.
- Website analytics – per the retention configured in our analytics tool (see Cookie Policy).
After these periods, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
8. How we protect your data (security measures)
DVK operates an Information Security Management System and maintains ISO/IEC 27001 certification, and aligns its handling of protected health information with HIPAA requirements where applicable. Our technical and organisational measures include encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, least-privilege access, logging and monitoring, secure development practices, supplier due diligence, and staff security and privacy training. We maintain an internal Data Privacy Policy and Program and a Record of Processing Activities; summaries are available to customers and prospects on request.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, email support@dvk.ai. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority – for users in India, the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; for users in the UK, the ICO; and for users in the EU, your national data protection authority.
